About 4-H

What is 4-H?  It means different things to different people.  Listing on this site are various aspects of the 4-H Program as it relates to Pickens Country, South Carolina and the nation.

4-H is a young person (and adult) who wants to go places... do interesting things... learn new skills... make new friends... and have fun.

4-H is the only youth program that ties public and private resources-federal, state, and local governments, land-grant colleges and universities and their Cooperative Extension System, schools, 4-H parents, youth, and community-based organizations-to the single purpose of supporting the positive and successful development of youth.
